The English Cricket Board (ECB) offers guidelines for youth cricket (27th April)

Ahead of the 2014 outdoor season the ECB has issued directives for fast bowlers at youth level, guidelines concerning junior players in open age cricket, and safely guidance on the wearing of helmets by all young players under the age of 18.

The ECB launch Spirit of Cricket campaign - enter the competition to take part in the prize draw! (28th April)

The ECB have launched the 2014 Play Hard, Play Fair and Stay in the Game campaign that aims to increase the awareness and knowledge of the Spirit of Cricket in players aged 11 to 17.
 
The multiple choice quiz is designed to test your basic knowledge of the game, give you a greater understanding of how to behave towards your opponents and match officials, and help you make the right decision in the heat of the moment in a match situation.
 
All entries between the ages of 11 and 17 will be entered into a prize draw for 2 sets of 2 India Test Match Tickets, 15 NatWest T20 Blast tickets for your school or club and 1 Gray-Nicolls cricket bat.
  
All cricketers at Zurich Crickets Cricket Club, aged between 11 and 17 are invited to visit www.playhardplayfair.co.uk before the 30^th June 2014 to complete this short quiz.
